Varya is a professional event organizer at a capital agency. She lives for her work and is in no hurry to arrange her personal life, believing that she is not cut out for a family. Due to her job, Varya goes to her native Ulyanovsk, where she is to hold a lavish wedding for the daughter of a star client. Varya interviews candidates for her team, and among them she meets her first love - Vlad. Despite the renewed feelings, the heroes cannot be together, because Vlad is married. However, the marriage of Vlad and Anya, whom he married without love, has long since cracked, and after meeting Varya, Vlad makes the final decision to divorce his wife. The former lovers reunite, but soon their fragile happiness collapses due to the news of Anya's pregnancy. Vlad is forced to return to his wife despite his desire to be with Varya.

After breaking up with Vlad, Varya learns that she is pregnant by him, but hides it so as not to destroy his family. Anya, who learned of her husband's intention to divorce, has a miscarriage from the stress she has experienced. Realizing that Vlad stayed with her only because of the child, Anya lies to her husband that she is still pregnant. Vlad is preparing to become a father, unaware that his wife is wearing a fake belly. And that Varya is carrying his real child...
