Continuation of the popular detective series "Dancing on the Sand". Zoya was once a happy wife and mother, she loved her job at the kindergarten and lived a carefree life. And then something broke, and she lost everything. She has been undergoing treatment from a psychiatrist for two years now, during which time she has had memory lapses more than once, she even tried to commit suicide. She is better now, but her daughter has grown weaned off her, her husband married another woman, and although the family still takes care of Zoya, it is no longer her family. Arriving at her ex-husband's parents' dacha, she feels like a stranger and unwanted. It is on this day that a strange burial is found not far from their village: the bones of a man who died two years ago lie under a concrete slab. The police establish his identity and question local residents. No one identifies the deceased... except Zoya. And that same night, another murder occurs.

The case is being handled by the investigators Tatyana and Pavel, whom we already know. Now they work together as equals, and it seems their relationship has only become more complicated...
