The father of the young owner of a computer game company, Denis Martov, whom he has not spoken to for several years, disappears, and it soon turns out that he has been kidnapped. The case is assigned to investigator Kira Solomina, known for her uncompromising attitude towards criminals and stubbornness in her work. At first, the characters perceive each other with hostility - he considers her a callous formalist, she him - a spoiled rich kid who sticks his nose where it doesn't belong. Denis, indeed, takes an active part in the investigation from the very beginning, and soon becomes Kira's indispensable assistant. With her participation, Denis manages to uncover the secret of his own past, find the kidnappers of Denis's father and save him from imminent death. But the main thing is to understand that all this would be impossible if it weren’t for faith in each other, hope for the best and love for life…
