Film Production News: The Borderland Cycle by Sergei Lukyanenko

The PRIOR Group of Companies has acquired the rights to film adaptations of Sergei Lukyanenko's science fiction novels from the Borderland series and several other novels and stories. The film series is planned to begin with the full-length film Centrum based on the novel Outpost. The director's chair has been offered to Andrei Volgin (Run!, Dancing to Death). Casting is currently underway, and filming of several teaser scenes is already scheduled for February next year. The main filming period is planned for the summer-fall of 2017.
