19-year-old Lera Pichugina wakes up in a hotel room covered in blood. She sees her lifeless body lying in the bathtub... what happened to her? Running away from the hotel, she tries to call for help, but no one notices her. Soon all doubts are dispelled. Lera's body is fished out of the lake. Is she really dead? If so, why is she still walking among the living? And why can only a few people see her? And why exactly them? Lera doesn't know what will happen next, but she decides to find the one responsible for her murder.

Lera Pichugina continues to investigate her murder and learns many secrets hidden behind the veil of a happy life in a peaceful town. Relatives, friends and acquaintances open up to her from an unexpected side. Meanwhile, the investigator believes that Lera fell at the hands of a serial killer who is still roaming free. This means that no one in the city can sleep peacefully. This means there will be new victims soon.
