Preparatory work on the melodrama "All for the Best" is underway.

Until recently, Anna's life was quite prosperous: at work she was considered the best employee, at home she took care of her elderly stepfather and raised her 15-year-old son Rodion, a promising violinist. And suddenly, in an instant, everything went to hell. She was fired from work under the article due to the intrigues of envious people, her stepfather died suddenly, without having time to leave a will, and his own son Boris immediately claimed his rights to the apartment and began to intimidate Anna. Fearing for the life of her son, she urgently moves to a one-room apartment on the outskirts of the city, where she is pestered by alcoholic neighbors, and Rodion becomes a favorite target for hooligan classmates from the district school. Unexpectedly, Nastya, the daughter of former boxing champion Nikolai, who raised her alone after the death of his wife, comes to the defense of the fragile young man. Nastya and Rodion's friendship does not please their parents: Anna and Nikolai felt a strong antipathy towards each other from their first meeting. However, when Anna is evicted from her apartment and she and her son are left homeless, when Anna finds the father of her child and understands that he is a scoundrel, it is Nikolai who will become her hope and support.
