On October 26, filming of the 4-episode detective melodrama "A Lie for Salvation" began.

Young investigator Oleg finds a connection between the strange deaths that have occurred in the city recently and suspects local banker Rusakov of the murders. He understands that much more powerful people are behind Rusakov, but he does not back down from the investigation, and his life goes downhill. His best friend is killed, Oleg himself is removed from the investigation, and investigator Polina, who is clearly connected to the criminals, is appointed in his place. Things are not going well in the family either: his beloved wife Irina suspects Oleg of cheating, and her son Deniska, who suffers from bouts of partial muteness, completely withdraws into himself. Then Oleg is arrested on charges of murdering Irina's first husband, and even she is not sure of his innocence. And soon his lawyer is found dead. Irina realizes that Oleg has been set up and is in danger in prison, so she takes a desperate step: she confesses to murdering her ex-husband so that Oleg can be released. Meanwhile, Oleg escapes from prison – this is the only way he hopes to save his loved ones…
