Zoya was once a happy wife and mother, she loved her job in the kindergarten and lived a peaceful life. And then something broke, and she lost everything. She has been undergoing treatment from a psychiatrist for two years now, during which time she has had memory lapses more than once, she even tried to commit suicide. Now she is better, but her daughter has grown weaned from her, her husband married another woman, and although the family still takes care of Zoya, it is no longer her family. Arriving at the dacha of her ex-husband's parents, she feels like a stranger and unwanted. It is on this day that a strange burial is found not far from their village: under a concrete slab lie the bones of a man who died two years ago. The police establish his identity and question local residents. No one identifies the deceased... except Zoya. And that same night, another murder occurs. The case is being handled by the investigators Tatyana and Pavel, whom we already know. Now they work together as equals, and it seems their relationship has only become more complicated...
