Alexandra is happy with her husband Anton and daughter Masha, she teaches language in an elementary school and loves her job. Her life is only marred by a lack of money and her mother-in-law's dislike. When Anton starts having problems at work, Alexandra gets a job as a tutor for a rich girl to help her husband. One day, when she comes to class, she finds her student's mother murdered next to an open and empty safe. Fearing accusations, Shura runs away, but the police come to her home and during a search find the deceased's jewelry in her things. The heroine is put on trial and sent to prison. When she is released 10 years later, she learns that everything has been taken from her. Her husband left her for her best friend, her daughter Masha thinks that her mother abandoned her and does not want to talk to her, she is not hired, and she has nowhere to live. And the father of her student is eager to take revenge on Alexandra for the murder of his wife. Life in freedom, even compared to prison, turned out to be hell. However, Shura is not going to give up: she will fight for justice to find the real criminal, restore her good name and get her daughter back.
