Investigator Anastasia Vyazemskaya is again investigating mysterious cases related to the history and legends of Moscow.

A security guard at an antique store on Nikolskaya Street fell down the stairs in the same building and died. A leaf from an ancient manuscript in Greek was found in the deceased's hand. Nastya Vyazemskaya suspects that the manuscript could have been kept in Liberea, the lost library of Ivan the Terrible. Did the deceased really find it? And was his death accidental?

It soon becomes clear that the guard was poisoned, and shortly before his death he managed to sell the ancient manuscript. But the buyer immediately stole the manuscript! Nastya must find out who is hunting for Liberea's treasures - an obsessed fanatic, an alchemist, or an indestructible gang of "antique dealers"? Whoever they are, these people are ready to kill again and again on the way to the cherished goal...
