Varya is a professional event organizer in a capital agency. She lives for her work, believing that she is not cut out for a family. Due to her job, Varya goes to her native Ulyanovsk, where she will have to organize a lavish wedding for the daughter of a star client. Varya interviews candidates for her team, and among them she meets her first love - Vlad. Vlad's renewed feelings for Varya push him to divorce his unloved wife Anya. The former lovers reunite, but their fragile happiness is shattered by the news of Anya's pregnancy. Vlad is forced to return to his wife, and Varya lets him go with a heavy heart. But soon after, she finds out that she is also pregnant...
