Golden Blood. Into the Abyss

Four years have passed since Svetlana Somova last crossed paths with a secret society called Golden Blood. Svetlana left the Investigative Committee long ago and now works as an art historian at the Pushkin Museum, but she cannot stop thinking about Golden Blood. She is convinced that sooner or later, Golden Blood will return to her life. And she turns out to be right. The body of a hanged man is found in an abandoned building — businessman and philanthropist Dmitry Anisimov, who was involved in acquiring and restoring cultural heritage sites. Everything looks like a routine suicide — the body is hanging from a noose, and there is a text message apologizing to his son. But Svetlana knew Anisimov and is convinced that he could not have taken his own life — he had plans to restore abandoned buildings. Svetlana begins to investigate and realizes that she has looked into the abyss: Anisimov's fascination with abandoned buildings may have led to his death. But even after the businessman's death, the abyss continues to claim people's lives!
