The Old Guard. Farewell Party

A lively carousal on the occasion of the meeting of former classmates is interrupted by a terrible find: one of the guests accidentally finds the corpse of a young woman that has stayed in the soil for many years. Captain Vera Yershova and her subordinates, a former field investigator Bobrykin and a brilliant criminalist Sapronov, take up the investigation of an old case. All the party attendees who, as it turns out, knew the victim very well and were the last to see her alive, are under suspicion. Each of them had a motive and an opportunity to kill the woman. But while Vera, Bobrykin, and Sapronov are trying to determine the criminal, the mysterious murderer starts a hunt for the guests themselves... As before, during the investigation Vera will rely on modern technology, and her colleagues - on old and proven methods. And although the past adventures have brought the team together, the conflict of generations will still reveal itself. Vera will get a new admirer, and Bobrykin and Sapronov will continue to fight for the heart of Lieutenant Colonel Romanova, who never managed to give preference to any of them.
